The Swedish Mingus Band has attracted much attention during recent years for entirely devoting themselves to the music of Charles Mingus.

A much appreciated Live band at many clubs, festivals and in the radio. Now they have also released their first record.

Saxophonist and arranger Lars Gulliksson has gathered some of Sweden’s most exciting improvisers. Many immortal works are treated both with love and without respect, with true Mingus-spirit!
